On one hand, he could be popular, on the other, he could be spending his time with other ladies; he’s guilty about it so he’s telling you a half-truth (that he’s spending time with ladies, but nothing about how that time is being spent).
2. He is super responsive with calls, texts and emails, except when he’s not.
The BlackBerry can be used as a powerful weapon, and its powers of manipulation are mighty. I know I’ve been busted with the above. While not necessarily malicious, unreturned calls and texts tend to mean something is up, especially if it’s out of the ordinary. Sometimes we’re just in a movie and like proper gentleman we’ve powered down our phones. Sometimes we’re avoiding you. Not much help, I know, that’s why it’s best to note a pattern and just call him on it if you notice drastic changes. That being said, there’s nothing that makes someone seem more insecure than the sentence, “Why didn’t you return my text—where were you?”
3. His timing is off, way off.
He says he’ll see you in “a bit” and shows up three hours later. He says he’ll call right back, and he never does. He asks if you’ll meet him for a late night drink, and you don’t hear from him until 12:30 A.M.. Guys can be super disorganized, but there’s never really an excuse for not acknowledging that we’ve kept someone waiting, or we didn’t fulfill an obligation (e.g. showing up when we say we will).
